Do we need to struggle to become great? I read a lot of nonfiction and listen to podcasts about business and personal growth.
The common theme lately is that those who become great have some kind of struggle, some trauma that they overcame and then they became great.
- I’m not sure I believe that trauma = greatness
- I hope that trauma doesn’t = greatness
- How are we defining greatness here?
- I guess I’m cool with being mediocre and happy 😉
I believe that personal struggle can make you more empathic and a better human to those around you. But, I don’t see how that can necessarily make you great.
